You're smitten by his beauty's allure, But I find solace in the Lord's pure.

This poetry describes the difference in how two individuals view love. The speaker notes that while one is smitten by a person's physical beauty and charm, they find solace and peace in the love and presence of a higher power, the Lord. The speaker values the Lord's grace and touch above all else and finds that it is enough to carry them through life. The poem highlights the idea that true love can come from spiritual sources and is not limited to human relationships.

You're smitten by his beauty's allure,
But I find solace in the Lord's pure.
Your heart dances with his smile so bright,
While I bask in his love, day and night.
His grace and touch are the things you treasure,
While I find peace in his presence, beyond measure.
For in his love, I see all that's true,
And it's enough to carry me through Ibrahim Hossain 8 February 2023
